Conceptually the function of gem therapy is associated with color energy hence it can also be called as color therapy. Modern science has observed the significant influence of colors like blue and red rays on the human body. Nearly 2000 years ago, color halls were made in many countries where patients used to take color bath for cure of their diseases. It can be said that the colors have a great influence on the system of human chemistry. But, how they exactly function is not well understood.

Presently it is known that white light/sun light is composed of seven colors that can be seen with the help of prism. The seven colors red, yellow, green, blue, violet, indigo and orange of different wavelengths have different governance on the system of body. The significance of color energy affecting the human system is:

Red color   1st Chakra (Base)

It relates to life, birth and death. It improves courage, energy, self confidence, blood circulation and vitality. It relates to art and creative activities.  Physically orange color energy is the best stimulant, helping us in times of depression, loneliness, and boredom. It regulates metabolic system, increases oxygen and helps the lung function properly. It raises the blood pressure and sexual potency. Yellow color      3rd Chakra (Solar Plexus)

It controls the thymus gland.                                                                       

Blue color           5th Chakra (Throat)

Its energy represents the spiritual aspects of the life and that is an endless process. It has greatest healing power that controls the activity of brain. It gives resistance to body against poison, evil effect, germs and reduces pain etc. It helps the person for higher studies and research work. Indigo color          6th Chakra ( Brow)

Violet color         7th Chakra  (Crown)                                                    

It denotes attraction, swiftness, encouragement and affection. It helps in curing of nervous problems, rheumatism, epilepsy, pain, heals bones. It provides with  Vitamin D and controls pineal  and pituitary glands.

Pink color energy denotes love, beauty.

White color energy is a mixture of all colors. It denotes peace, simplicity, soft nature and friendship. A person suffering from mental disturbances, torture, high blood pressure, loose temper needs the energy of white color. This color protects against widowhood and accidents. It also helps for wealth.

Present theory of color:  The theory of colors in affecting the humanism is not well known. However , it is known that the white light/ Sun light is composed of seven colors visible through prism light spectrum

Author’s view: The author thinks that a different phenomenon of light color energy occurs. Alternatively, it is hypothized that all the seven individual color energy mixing together forms the white light. The basis of this assumption ought to have the question of existence of seven sources of color energy entering into existing plane. In order to trace out the concept, the ancient history defined by the Omni Lords about the whole system of the universe was surveyed. It appears that the planets are the source of energy because they emit self-generating rays similar to the Sun. Hence it can be inferred that the planets are those which emit self-rays. Seven planets are defined in each solar system and these are the Sun, the Moon, the Jupiter, the Mercury, the Venus, the Saturn and the Mars. These planets posses their own rays of different intensity and color. For example, the Sun emits red and warm rays where as the Moon emits white and cool rays. Further the Saturn emits blue, the Mars-orange and the Mercury emitting green rays. Similarly other remaining planets emit their own rays of different colors other than the defined. All the rays emitting from planets are spreading over the entire solar plane and make the formation of white light. Therefore our Earth being the part of this solar system also receives all the color rays in the form of white light which is a mixture of seven basic colors.

Further it has to be borne in mind that each solar system has 88 planets and out of which seven energetic planets and two shadow planets were considered in astrological system.

Furthermore, each planet is associated with the designated gemstones which are based on the color contribution such as ruby for the Sun, pearl for the Moon, topaz for the Jupiter, emerald for the Mercury, diamond for the Venus, blue sapphire for the Saturn and coral for the Mars. This concept is being followed from the ancient time till date. It has a significance to support the views presented.

The above hypothesis also signifies through the observation of formation of seven centers/ Chakras in the human body, a same planetary system. This is an important aspect which shows the value of color energy and their effect on the behavior of human chemistry. In view of this, a small quantity and intensity of color energy obtained through a small piece of gemstone works wonders to stimulate the body’s own healing processes.

Seven centers are connected with the whole body and more particularly with the specific fingers. It is thus, the finger functions as the receiver of color rays and transmits to their respective centers. These centers, although independent, are bridged with the main center known as center of Saturn, which is receiver of blue color ray. Therefore, the blue color ray has the most powerful healing capacity and any malfunctioning may cause serious disorders.

All the planets are moving with respect to the earth at different speeds. As a result, at any moment, all the planets will have a definite position in relation to the earth and the relative position is very important which tells about the blueprint of person born during that specific time including the kinds of disorders.
